Chat & Scopes
Once local AI is set up, open the chat panel to ask questions about your vault, summarize documents, or draft new content.
Scopes
Section titled “Scopes”Control what the assistant looks at:
- Vault — search across all your notes.
- This file — focus on the currently open document, with its full content available to the assistant plus closely related notes.
- Folder — limit retrieval to a folder subtree.
What the assistant can do
Section titled “What the assistant can do”- Answer questions with citations into your notes
- Summarize and compare documents
- Draft new pages into your vault
- Author whiteboard content, including ERD schemas
- Set folder icons and organize your tree
Honesty by design
Section titled “Honesty by design”Retrieval is tuned to prefer “I don’t know” over invented answers, to surface contradictions between your notes, and to resist prompt-injection from document content.
